Xiaomi enters the gaming phone market with "the Black Shark" !

The way our smartphones are evolving is totally mind boggling and its incredible how advanced the games have become. The idea that some games on the smartphones can be played just like they are played on full-fledged PCs and consoles would have made it in the list of one of the strong reasons as Xiaomi enters the market of "Gaming Phones" this week.

Black Shark, the first gaming smartphone from Xiaomi-backed Black Shark, was launched in China on Friday. The new smartphone comes with several gaming-centric features, including a liquid cooling system. The Xiaomi Black Shark handset's price starts at CNY 2,999 (roughly ₹ 31,100). It has been listed on the Xiaomi's China site. It will go on sale starting April 20.
Notably, the smartphone will ship in two colour models - Polar Night and Sky Grey.
The smartphone will be sold in the country and there is no information on whether it will be unveiled globally.

The Black Shark’s black-and-green styling won’t come as a surprise to anyone who’s seen the Razer Phone, the most prominent gaming phone on the market today, although it’s a lot smoother and curvier.
Inside, it has the appropriately high specs: The “Black Shark” offers a Snapdragon 845 paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. There’s also up to 128GB of storage, or 64GB if you opt for the lower tier, as well as a “liquid cooling system” which Xiaomi claims can lower temperatures by up to 8 degrees Celsius. A 5.99 inch 1080p HDR display with 18:9 aspect ratio and packs a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support also add to the key specs.

There’s no microSD card slot or headphone jack, which is a bit odd, but the phone does offer a special analog stick attachment which can be used for certain games.
The company is also touting the presence of an X-type antenna, ensuring connectivity whether held in landscape or portrait and avoiding the 'grip of death'.

The smartphone has a dual-rear camera setup with a 20-megapixel sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor, both with f/1.75 aperture and LED flash. It has a front camera with 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, AGPS, and Glonass. Sensors onboard are Gyroscope, Geomagnetic, Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Ambient Light sensor. The phone measures 161.62x75.4x9.25mm and weighs 190 grams.

Although gaming phones are still a pretty niche market worldwide, they make more sense in China than most other places due to the overwhelming popularity of relatively hardcore mobile games; however this one from Xiaomi seems to be focused on particularly just one aspect.
